COLUMBUS SOUTHERLY CEPT - S88 - CLARIFICATION
This $30M project added Chemically Enhanced Primary Treatment to the Southerly WWTP allowing it to treat an additional 130MGD. The scope of this project included two 180’ diameter clarifiers, 90” conveyance piping, a complex chemical building housing polymer & FeCl chemical systems along with sludge pumps, and a diversion structure built over 2 operating 96” plant influent pipes to divert flow to the CEPT process.

AKRON CRITICAL CALL & DATA CENTER
Following extensive, phased demolition of existing MEP controls, Shook built new data space, cooled by five new 100-ton chilled water computer room air handlers. Electrical work included new lighting, outlets, raised floor grounding system, grounding and bonding, fire alarm, power to new CRAHs, humidifiers, makeup air units, exhaust fans, fire alarm systems, RDC installations and emergency power off buttons.

WHEELING WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION
This project renovated the existing Raw Water and High Service Pump Bldg with a new electrical service and switchgear. Existing pumps and motors were changed from 4160v to 480v service with VFD Control. The pump building had all of its windows replaced, new interior paint, and masonry restoration performed. The existing high service pumps were abandoned. The Settling Basins underwent an extensive renovation that included the rectangular sludge collection equipment, flocculators, concrete repair, baffle walls, platform and handrail replacement, electrical service, and instrumentation.
